Thermadyne Offers a Helping Hand
On the 7th February 2009, Victorian, had one of the worst Bush fire’s in Australia’s history. Twenty six separate bush fires burn’t through the state with 12 of those out of control. The fires have destroyed at least 2029 homes , killed over 200 people and burnt over 1.1 million acres. Many towns north-east of Melbourne the state’s capital have been damaged or almost completely destroyed with over 7500 people left homeless.
Thermadyne employee’s in the Asia Pacific region have donated a generous $8170.00 and with Thermadyne matching this contribution the total amount raised is $16,340.00 which has been forwarded to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal. We have also made available 20 esky’s to the Mitchell Shire Council for any victims needing them.
